San Juan, Puerto Rico, city of contrasts in sunset pixeled relief: music (I can hear it pulsing from my neighbor's room right now), graffiti, kindness of strangers, "te amo" shouted from a hoopty.

Today I rode the metro (Tren Urbano) and visited the Universidad de Puerto Rico Rio Piedras campus.

Later I ate dinner, as alone as one can be in the lobby of "El Marriott," and watched loving older couples do the cha-cha-cha. I love this town!
